"Is Xavier Becerra professionally competent enough to be our state's top lawyer?"
SACRAMENTO, CALIFORNIA - Judge Steven Bailey (Ret.) says the Supreme Court's latest ruling demonstrates Xavier Becerra's inexperience in the legal profession.

"Californians have to ask if Xavier Becerra is competent enough as a lawyer to serve as our Attorney General," said Judge Bailey, who recently retired from the Superior Court after 8 & 1/2 years on the bench. "Becerra's law license was inactive for 26 years and he did not practice law in the courtroom for all that time," stated Judge Steven Bailey.

Politico reports, "There was no recorded dissent on Wednesday as the high court instructed lower courts to hold off demanding any more documents from federal agencies until a ruling is reached on the Trump administration's effort to dismiss five lawsuits pending in California that challenge the move to end Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA). The unsigned, four-page Supreme Court opinion said U.S. District Court Judge William Alsup erred when he ordered the Department of Homeland Security and the Justice Department to turn over more documents related to the move and to round up an even larger set for possible disclosure."

"This was a frivolous lawsuit from the beginning. Californians know the truth: our Attorney General is wasting the taxpayers' money and grandstanding on the national stage while absent on state issues. I will bring my judicial experience and 18 years as a practicing attorney to serve as our state's Attorney General," declared Judge Bailey.
