South Lake Tahoe VHR ad hoc Committee meeting on Feb 12th

Note:The upcoming public meeting of the County's Vacation Home Rental ad hoc Committee Meeting scheduled for Monday, Feb. 12th in South Lake Tahoe is NOT the rescheduled meeting of the full Board of Supervisors that was paused last Thursday. That has been rescheduled for Saturday, March 3rd at a location and time to be determined. Stay tuned for those details.

 

(PLACERVILLE, CA) – The Vacation Home Rental ad hoc Committee of the El Dorado County Board of Supervisors will meet Monday, February 12, 2018 at the California Conservation Corps Tahoe Center from 1:30 pm-3:30 pm. The public is invited to attend.

The Committee – which has no policy-making authority but reports findings and provides recommendations to the Board of Supervisors – will review conceptual recommendations for changes to the current VHR ordinance in the unincorporated portion of El Dorado County.

The ad hoc Committee will also review the results of the Public Input Exercise conducted at the Board’s special meeting on February 1, 2018 and listen to comments from the public.

Finally, the Committee will determine its next steps in the process.

BACKGROUND:
The ad hoc committee was formed by a 5-0 vote of the Board of Supervisors at their Sept. 12, 2017 meeting. The committee, comprised of Supervisors Sue Novasel and Michael Ranalli, is charged with reviewing existing VHR ordinances and policies and presenting any recommended changes to the Board for consideration.
