Once again those in the Brown administration, in this case the California Attorney General, Xavier Becerra, has misled voters, in writing the language on another initiative. Some voters think that if they vote Yes on 6, it means they are voting for the gas tax. First of all, the gas tax and vehicle fee increases, were approved by the progressives in the State Legislature and signed by Governor Brown last year. You never had an opportunity to vote on this.

A vote of Yes on 6, authored by Jon Coupal Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association, and candidate for Governor, John Cox, actually Repeals the Gas Tax and the vehicle license fee registration. A Yes on 6 also would require voter approval for fuel and vehicle fees increases in the future and “defang” the state legislature to some extent.

The Transportation in the Road Repair and Accountability Act of 2017 was not in fact designated just for road repair, but included movement -related expenditures, such as studying transportation, promoting high-speed rail (Brown's $100 billion Train), that is estimated to cost each taxpayer $8,000.
Add another almost $800, that your family pays in increased gas taxes, or your family's Christmas.

In the recent June 2018 Primary, Prop 69 was passed by the voters, but was another incident of a falsely labeled voter measure, by the Legislature Analysts Office. The true intent of the measure – to allow the the Legislature to use the gasoline taxes for any purpose.  A Yes on 6 will also cancel out Prop 69.

Why are Brown's friends spending millions of dollars to defeat Yes on 6, because they are counting on voters (you) to be complacent or too dumb to really understand how you have been mislead by the power mongers in Sacramento. And if Prop 6 fails, they, those leftists in the State Legislature, feel you don't really mind more taxes, and they will feel safe in reintroducing Bills for the Water Tax, Cell Phone Tax, paving the road to Repeal Prop 13. How much more do you think residential & business will be paying in property taxes? What is your family's future looking like now?

It is time for a change in Sacramento.  You, as voters & taxpayers will make a huge statement if you in fact Repeal the Gas Tax & Car Tax. A vote for John Cox for Governor, gives us someone who will veto bills that increase taxes, such as the aforementioned. And together, with John Cox, we can lead the charge to prevent he implementation of the water rationing legislation, passed by the State Legislature & Brown, that will be imposed in 2022. You will be limited to 55 gallons per person.

Yes on 6 signs, and information are available at the Republican Campaign Headquarters, located at 3161 Cameron Park Drive, Suite 111, Cameron Park. You may also register to vote and pick up information about the Propositions and County Measures on this years ballot. Call 916-676-6761 for more information. You cannot sit this one out. Please Vote & Vote for Change in California
