El Dorado County Canine Association -- Retired K9 Officer Bakus made it out of surgery and everything went very well. He is expected to make a full recovery.

The cost of the surgery was extensive and was covered by the El Dorado County Canine Association. The El Dorado County Canine Association was formed to help offset costs of caring for and purchasing canines. It is a non-profit charitable organization recognized under 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and all donations are a tax write-off. The Association exists only by generous contributions made by local businesses and citizens.
Any donation made to the El Dorado County Canine Association is much appreciated and goes a long way. Any and all donations are accepted.
To make a donation, checks can be made payable to the El Dorado County Canine Association and mailed to PO Box 1721, Shingle Springs, Ca 95682. The EDC Canine Assoc. is a non-profit organization whose primary role is purchasing & caring for working & retired sheriff canines.
