URGENT - FIRE WEATHER MESSAGE
...A FIRE WEATHER WATCH IS IN EFFECT ACROSS PORTIONS OF INTERIOR NORTHERN CALIFORNIA WEDNESDAY THROUGH THURSDAY...
A weather system digging into the Great Basin region will create gusty north to east winds over portions of interior Northern California Wednesday and Thursday. Daytime minimum relative humidity values will be very low along with extremely poor overnight recoveries Wednesday night. These will lead to critical fire weather conditions for the northern Coastal Range and foothills, the Sacramento Valley, portions of the northern San Joaquin Valley, and the Northern Sierra Nevada and foothills below 7000 feet.

The National Weather Service in Sacramento has issued a Fire Weather Watch, which is in effect from late Tuesday night through Thursday afternoon.
* AFFECTED AREA...
Fire weather zones includes the northern Coastal Range and foothills, the Sacramento Valley, portions of the northern San Joaquin Valley, and the Northern Sierra Nevada and foothills below 7000 feet.
* WIND...
North to northeast wind 15 to 25 mph with gusts 30 to 40 mph, locally higher in canyons and exposed ridges.
* HUMIDITY
...Daytime minimum humidities mainly in the teens with poor overnight recoveries from the teens to 30 percent Wednesday night.
* IMPACTS
...any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
