WIND GUSTS up to 45 MPH Increases Fire Risk

Extreme fire weather conditions are likely.

A strong but dry storm system will move south through northern California Saturday night and Sunday. This system will cause strong and potentially damaging North to East winds over much of interior California including the Delta, portions of the mountains and foothills. This will likely be the strongest wind storm of the fall season and one of the strongest of the past few years. 

Hazardous Weather Conditions

Tonight

Clear. Lows 46 to 60. Prevailing north winds up to 10 mph shifting to the east after midnight.

Saturday

Sunny. Highs 74 to 84. Prevailing east winds up to 10 mph shifting to the west in the afternoon.

Saturday Night

Clear, colder. Lows 39 to 53. Prevailing northwest winds up to 10 mph shifting to the northeast 10 to 20 mph with gusts to around 40 mph after midnight.

Sunday

Sunny, windy. Highs 56 to 68 higher elevations...63 to 73 lower elevations. Prevailing northeast winds 15 to 30 mph with gusts to around 45 mph.

Sunday Night

Clear, colder. Lows 36 to 48. Prevailing northeast winds 10 to 20 mph.

Monday

Sunny. Highs 61 to 71.

Monday Night

Clear. Lows 35 to 47.

Tuesday Through Friday

Clear. Highs 64 to 77. Lows 35 to 50.
