The Placerville City Council, after initially being pushed by a group of progressives to remove the noose from the Placerville City Seal has morphed into removing everything Hangtown (to be discussed apparently at another meeting), is having a Zoom Workshop on April 7 with a host of speakers for information in which will be used for the City Council to make a decision the next week. The time and zoom information have yet to be determined.
If you want to make a comment about this first action to remove the noose please contact the City Council at the following emails and perhaps you could also share your letter on this Facebook Page if you so desire. If you send your email to the City Clerk, she will forward to the rest of the Council.
