The Forni Road/Placerville Drive exit from eastbound US 50 will be closed Sunday, April 23rd through Thursday, April 27th, 9 p.m. - 6 a.m. for the Missouri Flat Bike Path Phase 1B-2 Project.
The Project is located along U.S. Highway 50 at Missouri Flat Road and Forni Road, near Placerville in County of El Dorado. The Work to be done is shown on the Plans, and generally consists of, but is not limited to:
A. Construct approximately 1300 feet of hot mix asphalt bike path along Eastbound Hwy 50 to Forni Road off-ramp. Additional work includes constructing Type 6A retaining wall, Type 60Mod concrete barrier, chain link fence and drainage items. Other items or details not mentioned above, that are required by the plans, Standard Plans, Standard Specifications, or these Special Provisions must be performed, constructed or installed.
B. Bids are required for the entire Work described herein.
C. The contract time is Seventy (70) WORKING DAYS.
D. For bonding purposes the anticipated Project cost is less than $ 1,100,000.
E. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for this Project on January 18, 2017 at 2:00 PM at the County of El Dorado Community Development Agency, Transportation Division, 2441 Headington Road, Placerville, CA. The meeting will be held in the downstairs conference room. Attendance at the pre-bid meeting is not mandatory.
F. This Project is being formally bid in accordance with Public Contract Code 22032 and County of El Dorado Ordinance Code section 3.14.040.
