Gold Bug Park has done it again! Our local treasure has received the 2016 CHAMPION OF THE COMMUNITY AWARD by the California Park and Recreation Society!
Of over 535 Districts, Gold Bug received this honor by its body of work and the extensive, vibrant volunteer base that supports it.
Thousands of school children visit the park each year, and visitors from over 56 countries have enjoyed this historical peak into our past.
Kudos to the amazing volunteers and City Staff that work diligently to support this incredible attraction!
Susan Panzieri Zito added, "It is still a huge honor for the Gold Bug Park Development Committee to be recognized statewide for the body of work it has accomplished in its 35+ years of existence. I'm proud and honored to be part of this group."
