A reminder that the services and procession for Deputy Brian Ishmael will occur tomorrow. For those that cannot make it to the services, please make an effort to line the procession route, including Historic Main Street in Placerville. It is expected that the procession will begin at 12:15 and arrive in Placerville after 1 PM. Below is the travel route.
South on Stanford Ranch Road
East on highway 65
East on Interstate 80
South on Sierra College Blvd
Continue onto Hazel Avenue
East on Highway 50
Exit south on Canal Street in Placerville
East on Historic Main Street
Ending at the Placerville Bell Tower
El Dorado County Sheriff's Office, "Over passes and on foot on main street would be the best options."
Kelly Turney, "As a retired LEO, who has been to too many LEO funerals, I have to say that the most impact that the public has on the hearts of fellow LEO's is to see you (the public) supporting us along the procession route. Truth be told, there will not be room for the public to personally view the service from inside the church auditorium. Yes, there will be satellite viewing locations. But we really love seeing you, with your signs and flags."
